Our experts create a planting plan specifically for your garden, based on your goals, your location, and your schedule. We source the perfect soil blend and seeds, along with top-notch herbs, vegetables, and native flowers. We can plant together as part of a coaching plan, or you can leave it all to us. Let us guide you through best practices and preventable pitfalls for a successful harvest year after year.
The Consultation
It All Starts Here. A 15 minute exploratory call helps us learn more about your gardening goals and how we can help. We follow up with an on-site visit to walk through all the logistics — your size of space, climate, soil and sunlight possibilities, your goals for planting, who will be tending the garden, how much you want to grow — in a nutshell, all the details to help you build an abundant kitchen garden.
The Design
Designing a kitchen garden is an art unto itself. Aesthetic and functionality go hand-in-hand to ensure your plants grow in symbiosis with each other. We solve sunlight and soil challenges, we decide what’s best to plant in your climate and where, and we help you source the best materials to begin installation. We tailor this design process to your strengths, with our participation ranging from shopping lists to drawing up a complete schematic for you
The Installation
However you want to execute your kitchen garden plan, we’re your partner in growing. We factor in both your kitchen garden aesthetic and all the nitty gritty logistics to create a custom garden design and planting plan.
DIY: We give you straightforward step-by-step design and maintenance instructions and send you off with a kiss.
WDIAFY (We Do It All For You): We offer complete turnkey installation in the NoVA area to set your garden up the right way from the very start, for a successful harvest for years to come.
Need Some Tips to Reap All the Benefits?
We offer in-person and virtual coaching for all your kitchen garden problem-solving needs! Need tips on how to grow brussel sprouts? How do I grow micro herbs? When should I plant garlic and how? When is it time to plant for the next growing season and what should I plant? Educating and empowering our clients is our favorite thing to do!

We’ve designed, we’ve installed…now what? We offer year-round garden maintenance coaching for continued success. Let’s work together to transition your gorgeous new beds from the cool to warm seasons…and back again!
Going on vacation and need some harvesting help? We’ll make sure your plant babies get all the water, pruning, and picking they need. For your harvested produce, we offer storage solutions or local food bank donations.
Workshops & Classes
Hosting a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday celebration, or important milestone? Gift your guests a fun, unique experience that will continue to bring them joy. We offer plant-your-own cocktail and mocktail herb garden parties. You plan the guest list and we’ll teach them to plant and grow their very own take-home herb containers!
Garden parties? Arboretum events? Check and check. We love leading workshops on sustainable produce and community gardening in your community. We believe kitchen gardening is a powerful tool for promoting food security, environmental stewardship, and community health and well-being.
Kitchen Garden Kits
Plant the seeds of creativity with a kitchen garden kit! We’ll bundle a 4x4 cedar or corten steel bed with a trellis and some seeds to equip your friends/loved ones with the how-to’s of starting their very own herb or vegetable garden! Available exclusively in the NoVa area. Contact us for specifics and pricing.
